Presidents Cup Up Big From ’11, on Par With ’09
- NBC earned a 2.5 overnight rating for Sunday coverage of the Presidents Cup golf tournament, up 127% from coverage in 2011 (1.1), and even with 2009 (2.5). The 2011 tournament was based in Australia and took place in November. Coverage on Saturday drew a 2.2 overnight, up 100% from 2011 (1.1), and down 12% from 2011 (2.5). WNBA Finals Blowout Even With Last Year
- Game 1 of the Dream/Lynx WNBA Finals drew a 0.4 overnight on ESPN Sunday night, according to the Houston Chronicle, even with Fever/Lynx Game 1 on ESPN2 last year (0.4). Sunday’s game was a 25-point blowout in favor of Minnesota. (Overnight from Houston Chronicle)
