FOX scored a modest increase for the NFL national window last week.
The Week 11 NFL national window, featuring 49ers/Saints, earned a 15.5 final rating and 26.9 million viewers on FOX Sunday — up 7% in ratings and 14% in viewership from coverage on CBS featuring Colts/Patriots last year (14.5, 23.6M), and up 19% and 26%, respectively, from coverage on CBS featuring Chargers/Bears in 2011 (13.0, 21.5M).
The telecast ranks as the sixth-most viewed of the season on any network, and is tied as the seventh-highest rated.
For only the second time this season, the NFL national window was not the most-viewed telecast of the week. The Chiefs/Broncos “Sunday Night Football” game drew a slightly larger audience (26.947M to 26.940M). The national window did tie “SNF” as the highest rated telecast of the week.
Earlier Sunday, regional NFL action featuring Washington/Eagles drew a 9.2 final rating and 15.3 million viewers.
