Fewer Viewers For Heisman, “30 For 30”
- Saturday’s Heisman Trophy Presentation drew a 2.6 final rating and 4.2 million viewers on ESPN, down 16% in ratings and 15% in viewership from last year (3.1, 4.9M), and down 10% and 9%, respectively, from 2011 (2.9, 4.6M). Later in the night, the network’s “30 For 30” documentary “Youngstown Boys” earned a 1.3 and 2.0 million — down 44% in ratings and 45% in viewership from “You Don’t Know Bo” last year (2.3, 3.6M), and down 7% and 8%, respectively, from “The Marinovich Project” in 2011 (1.4, 2.1M). Big Drop For UFC on FOX
- The ninth edition of the “UFC on FOX” earned a 1.7 final rating and 2.8 million viewers Saturday night, down 32% in ratings and 35% in viewership from last year’s December telecast (2.5, 4.4M), but up 13% and 19%, respectively, from the most recent “UFC on FOX” telecast in July (1.5, 2.4M). Wild, Capitals, Hit Season-Highs
- Tuesday’s Canucks/Wild NHL regular season game drew a 4.6 rating on Fox Sports North, the network’s highest rating of the season for a Wild telecast.
