Spurs Hit Season-High on FS Southwest
- Wednesday’s Warriors/Spurs NBA regular season game earned a 10.98 rating on Fox Sports Southwest, the network’s top Spurs rating of the season. The previous high was a 9.47 for Celtics/Spurs in November. So far this season, Spurs games have averaged a 7.45 rating on FS Southwest, up 15% from last year. (Spurs.com)
IndyCar Opener Up From Last Year, But Very Low
- Sunday’s IndyCar Series opener from St. Petersburg earned a 0.6 final rating and 866,000 viewers on ABC, up 100% in ratings and 123% in viewership from last year’s race on NBCSN (0.3, 388K), but down 33% and 32%, respectively, from 2012 — the last time it aired on ABC (0.9, 1.2M). The race is tied as the lowest rated IndyCar telecast on ABC since August 2012 (0.5). (ESPN)

- NBCSN earned 744,000 viewers for the Bruins/Red Wings NHL regular season game Wednesday night, the network’s third-largest audience of the season. Only Capitals/Blackhawks on Opening Night (935K) and Flyers/Penguins in November (759K) earned better numbers. (NBC)
