ESPN drew a 3.0 U.S. rating and 4.6 million viewers for Yankees/Red Sox on Sunday night, up 15% in ratings and 18% in viewership from a 2.6 and 3.9 million for the first Sunday night Yankees/Red Sox game on ESPN last year.
The game finished as the second most viewed sporting event of the weekend on broadcast, behind only the NFL Draft and ahead of every NBA Playoff telecast on ESPN and TNT.
