- Coverage of the Arsenal/Hull FA Cup final earned a 0.7 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, according to ShowBuzz Daily, up 40% from Manchester City/Wigan last year (0.5). This year marked the second time the event has aired on U.S. broadcast television.
Declines For PGA Byron Nelson Championship
- Final round coverage of the PGA Tour Byron Nelson Championship earned a 1.6 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, down 24% from last year (2.1) and down 11% from 2012 (1.8). Third round action on Saturday drew a 1.2 overnight — down a tick from last year (1.3) and even with 2012.
ABC Hits High For Indy 500 Qualifying
- Indianapolis 500 qualifying earned a 1.2 overnight rating on ABC Sunday afternoon, the network’s top IndyCar overnight (excluding the actual Indianapolis 500) since 2011. Saturday coverage earned a 0.8 overnight. The last time ABC aired qualifying coverage — 2008 — the network earned a 1.3 overnight for one Sunday afternoon window.
