The Bruins’ overtime Game 7 loss to the Hurricanes drew a 14.2 rating on NESN Thursday night, “by far” the highest rating ever for a Bruins telecast on the net. Ratings peaked at a massive 18.6 from 11-11:15 PM ET.
While local ratings for Thursday’s Celtics/Magic Game 6 are unavailable, NESN says Game 7 was the #1 program of the night Boston in household ratings.
During the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs, NESN averaged a 9.6 rating for Bruins games.
