NBCSN Hires Jason Taylor For Pro Football Talk
- NBC Sports has hired former NFL star Jason Taylor as an analyst for the NBCSN talk show Pro Football Talk. Taylor, who once worked for ESPN, is among a handful of newcomers to the program. Second Studio Team Announced For Thursday Night Football
- NFL Network host Rich Eisen and analysts Michael Irvin, Marshall Faulk and Steve Mariucci will make up a second studio team for Thursday Night Football on CBS and NFL Network this season, it was announced Tuesday. Eisen and company will primarily work the NFL Network pregame show, though they will also appear on the CBS pregame. Nantz, Simms, to Call Three Games in Two Weeks to Start Season
- The lead CBS NFL studio team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will three games in eight days to start the NFL season. Nantz and Simms will work Browns/Steelers on September 7 — an indication of the Browns’ marquee status this season — followed by the Steelers/Ravens Thursday Night Football opener on September 11 and Jets/Packers on September 14.
