- Adam Schefter: The former NFL Network reporter has officially joined ESPN. Schefter, who had been with NFL Network since ’04, will make appearances on various ESPN studio shows, including SportsCenter and Sunday NFL Countdown, and will also write columns for ESPN.com. Schefter is set to make his ESPN debut in August.
- George Bodenheimer: The ESPN/ABC Sports president signed a three-year extension of his agreement with the Walt Disney Company last week, reports the Sports Business Journal. The extension will keep Bodenheimer “presiding over ESPN through most of 2011.”
- John Legend: The musician will be a guest co-host on ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning this Friday, alongside Mike Greenberg. Legend, described as “a big sports fan” in an ESPN release, is just the latest personality from the music world to appear on ESPN. Earlier this year, rapper Lil’ Wayne was a panelist on Around the Horn, and last week, The Jonas Brothers appeared on SportsCenter.
