TNT to Use Rotation of Analysts to Replace Kerr
- Turner Sports will use a rotation of Greg Anthony, Chris Webber and Grant Hill to replace Steve Kerr on its lead NBA broadcast team this season, Sports Illustrated reported Sunday. Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller will also occasionally be part of the rotation, though they will continue in the same roles they had last season. (SI.com)
Bilas Extends ESPN Deal Through 2023
- ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas has agreed to an extension with the network through the 2022-23 season, it was announced last week. As part of the new deal, Bilas will serve as the primary analyst on ESPN’s Saturday Primetime college basketball franchise. The move came days after ESPN announced an extension with Dick Vitale. ESPN Makes Calhoun Hire Official
- ESPN also announced last week the hiring of former University of Connecticut men’s basketball coach Jim Calhoun. The news had been previously reported weeks earlier by The Big Lead.
