TCU’s rout of Texas Tech was not much of a draw on FOX last week.
Last Saturday’s Texas Tech/TCU college football game drew a 0.8 final rating and 1.2 million viewers on FOX, down 67% in ratings and 69% in viewership from Texas Tech/Oklahoma last year, which was delayed due to rain and concluded on Fox News Channel (2.4, 3.8M).
TCU’s 55-point win ranks as the second-least watched game of the season on FOX, ahead of only Illinois/Washington in September (1.0M).
Over on Fox Sports 1, Oregon/Cal game topped the charts with a 0.7 and 1.2 million last Friday night — the network’s second-most watched game of the season. Only Baylor/West Virginia six days earlier drew a larger audience (1.6M).
USC/Utah on Saturday night drew a 0.5 and 767,000, up 150% in ratings and 92% in viewership from Cal/Washington last year (0.2, 399K).
