As is usually the case, college football was not much of a draw on FOX over the weekend.
The Oklahoma State/Baylor game drew a 1.4 overnight rating on FOX Saturday night, down 26% from Arizona State/UCLA last year (1.9), and the week’s lowest rated game on broadcast in the metered markets.
In seven of the past nine weeks, FOX has aired the lowest rated game of the week on broadcast. The only exceptions were week ten, when Air Force/Army brought up the rear on CBS, and week eight — when FOX did not air a game. Overall, FOX has finished in last place in nine of the season’s thirteen weeks.
Head-to-head, Baylor’s blowout win trailed USC/UCLA on ABC (3.3) and Tennessee/Missouri on ESPN (1.8).
