- Michael Vick: The NFL QB is “planning to do his first major interview” since being released from federal custody with the CBS newsmagazine 60 Minutes. A three-person crew from 60 Minutes was on hand when Vick spoke to young people in Atlanta on Saturday.
- Lou Holtz: The ESPN college football analyst has denied claims that he is considering running for Congress. Holtz recently told an Indiana television station, “I’m working for ESPN. I don’t want to run for Congress. … I think when you look at the country, you really don’t want to get into politics.” Last week, the Orlando Sentinel reported that Holtz met with top Republican officials and expressed his interest in running for the House of Representatives.
- Mike Goldberg: The UFC play-by-play voice will join WGN sportscaster Pat Tomasulo and FOX sideline reporter Charissa Thompson on the broadcast team for the new ABC reality show “Shaq Vs.”, set to debut later this month.
