Eagles QB Michael Vick‘s first televised interview since his release from federal custody gave 60 Minutes its highest rating since last May.
Sunday’s edition of 60 Minutes, which featured a much-hyped interview with Vick, drew a 7.6/15 final rating and 12 million viewers on CBS. This marks the highest rated, most-viewed edition of 60 Minutes since May 3 (7.8/15 rating, 12.3 million viewers).
Additionally, the episode was the second-most viewed program of the week on broadcast.
60 Minutes also benefited from a strong lead-in by the PGA Championship, which drew its largest overnight rating in 7 years.
