A scheduling change resulted in dramatic gains for the PGA Tour Humana Challenge. In other news, Nuggets/Grizzlies attracted the smallest NBA audience of the season and the Senior Bowl hit a three-year viewership low.
Major Gains For Humana Challenge
- Final round coverage of the PGA Tour Humana Challenge drew a 0.7 final rating and 1.1 million viewers on Golf Channel last Sunday, up 250% in ratings and 235% in viewership from last year, when the tournament aired opposite NFL playoff games (0.2, 324K). Third round action on Saturday drew a 0.5 and 694,000, up a tick and 36%, respectively, from last year (0.4, 510K). (via Awful Announcing)

The previous low was 830,000 for a Pistons/Hawks M.L.K. Day matinee on ESPN. Later in the night, Bulls/Lakers drew 1.2 million (-23%).
