Olbermann Suspended
- ESPN commentator Keith Olbermann has been suspended from his show for the remainder of the week after comments he made on Twitter about Penn State University. In a statement Tuesday, ESPN said Olbermann’s comments were “completely inappropriate” and did “not reflect the views of ESPN.” The suspension is the first discipline Olbermann has faced since returning to ESPN in August 2013. Danica to Serve As Analyst
- NASCAR driver Danica Patrick will serve as an analyst for the June 13 Xfinity Series race from Michigan on Fox Sports 1. Patrick, who will work alongside play-by-play voice Adam Alexander and analyst Michael Waltrip, is believed to be the first woman to call a NASCAR race from the booth. Fox Sports will use several active NASCAR drivers as analysts for Xfinity Series races this season, including Jeff Gordon. (NASCAR.com)
ESPN Hires Washington Post Writer
