After over a month away from television, ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews will be all over the airwaves in the next few weeks.
Andrews, who has not been on the air since hidden camera video of her surfaced on the internet in July, has already taped an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show that will air on September 11, reports Sports Illustrated‘s Richard Deitsch.
The appearance on Oprah will follow Andrews’ return to the sidelines this Thursday for ESPN’s South Carolina/N.C. State game.
As the lead sideline reporter for both Thursday and Saturday night college football games on ESPN, Andrews will more than likely end up working three games in the span of just five days — Thursday’s aforementioned matchup, a Saturday night game, and Miami/Florida State on Labor Day night (which will be called by ESPN’s Saturday night announcing team).
UPDATE (9/2/09): Andrews will work two games next week — the Thursday night game and Miami/Florida State on Monday. Heather Cox will work Saturday night’s BYU/Oklahoma contest.
