Wild Set New (Non-Lockout Season) Local Ratings Record
- Tuesday’s Senators/Wild NHL regular season game drew a 7.12 rating on Fox Sports North in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market, the network’s highest rating for a regular season Wild game, excluding the 2012-13 lockout season. The previous mark was a 6.13 for Wild/Oilers the previous Tuesday, and the record before that was a 5.93 for Wild/Jets three weeks earlier. With the lockout season included, the record is a 7.65 for Avalanche/Wild in January 2013. (foxsports.com)
LigaMX Tops Soccer Charts Yet Again
- Univision earned a 0.6 final rating and 1.3 million viewers for the Guadalajara/Monterrey LigaMX Clausura match last Sunday, the most-watched soccer telecast of the week on any network. LigaMX on Univision has delivered the top soccer audience in four straight weeks and seven of the past eight. (Univision)
Another 800K Viewers For PBA Bowling
- Coverage of the PBA Tour PBA Doubles Championship, which took place in January, drew a 0.6 final rating and 861,000 viewers on ESPN last Sunday — marking the fourth-largest PBA audience of the season (12 telecasts). The last five PBA telecasts have earned at least 800,000 viewers, compared to just one of the previous seven.
