- Late ESPN SportsCenter anchor Stuart Scott has been nominated for the best studio host Sports Emmy. Scott, who anchored SportsCenter for two decades and was ESPN/ABC’s lead NBA host from 2007-11, was last nominated in 2004. Former Giants Beat Writer Peters Dies
- Former San Francisco Giants beat writer Nick Peters passed away on Monday at age 75. Peters covered the Giants from 1961 to 2007, working the last nineteen of those years with the Sacramento Bee after stints with the Oakland Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, and Berkeley Gazette. ESPN Agrees to Extension With Braden
- ESPN has reached a multi-year contract extension with MLB analyst Dallas Braden, the network announced earlier this month.
