After momentum stalled on Friday, The Masters hit a four-year high in overnights on CBS Saturday.
Third round coverage of The Masters earned a 6.5 overnight rating on CBS Saturday afternoon, up 48% from last year (4.4), up 3% from 2013 (6.3), and the highest overnight for Saturday coverage since 2011 (6.8).
The 6.5 overnight is the third-highest for Saturday coverage of The Masters since 2002 (7.0), trailing only 2011 and 2010 (7.6) over that span.
The four-year high in overnights comes on the heels of five-year highs in ratings and viewership for Thursday’s opening round and a record performance in both measures for the Par 3 Contest.
