Ratings were not particularly strong for the NFL on CBS during Week 3.
CBS saw declines for both of its NFL windows on Sunday. Late afternoon coverage, featuring Steelers/Bengals, drew a 12.6 overnight rating — down 7% from a 13.5 for last year’s Steelers/Eagles tilt, and down 18% from a 15.4 for Steelers/Bears in Week 2.
Despite the decline, the 12.6 ranked as Sunday’s highest overnight for an NFL telecast.
Earlier in the day, CBS drew a 9.3 overnight for regional coverage featuring Titans/Jets, down 10% from a 10.3 last year.
