FS1 Hits Season-High For MLS Coverage
- Sunday’s Sounders/Timbers Major League Soccer match earned 309,000 viewers on Fox Sports 1, the network’s top MLS audience of the season and the second-largest audience on an English-language network. Only Orlando City/NYC F.C. on ESPN2 March 8 earned a larger audience (539K). - IndyCar Series racing from Alabama drew 300,000 viewers on NBCSN Sunday afternoon, down 25% from the same race last year (400K) but up 19% from 2013 (253K). Fewer Viewers For Nats/Braves on Monday Night Baseball
- The Nationals/Braves Monday Night Baseball game drew 571,000 viewers on ESPN, down 20% from Reds/Pirates last year (713K) and down 26% from Yankees/Rays in 2013 (769K). The Braves’ win earned the second-smallest audience for Monday Night Baseball this season (5 telecasts), ahead of only Giants/Diamondbacks on ESPN2 Opening Night (555K).
