New Ratings Record For K.C. Royals
- Sunday’s Royals/White Sox Major League Baseball game drew a 17.3 rating on Fox Sports Kansas City, the highest Royals rating ever on the network. The previous record was set just five days earlier by Twins/Royals (15.9), and the record before that was set by Athletics/Royals the previous Sunday (14.6). - The Chivas/Club América El Súper Clásico match drew a 1.3 final rating and 2.9 million viewers on Univision and Univision Deportes Network Sunday night, up 18% and 25%, respectively, from last year on UniMás (1.1, 2.3M) and the largest audience for the match since 2010. - Golf Channel averaged 132,000 total day viewers during the month of April, up 2% from last year (130K), up 4% from 2013 (128K), and the network’s most-watched April ever.
