CBS and NBC both saw increases for college football coverage on Saturday.
On CBS, LSU’s win over Georgia drew a 3.7 overnight rating Saturday afternoon, up 42% from a 2.6 for Tennessee/Auburn last year.
The 3.7 is the second-highest overnight of the season for college football on CBS, behind a 4.8 for Tennessee/Florida, and well ahead of a 2.2 for Arkansas/Alabama.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame’s win over Washington drew a 3.3 overnight on NBC, up 65% from a 2.0 for Purdue/Notre Dame last year. The 3.3 overnight is the highest of the season for a Notre Dame game on NBC.
CBS and NBC both topped ABC’s college football coverage (2.8 overnight) during 3:30-7 PM timeslot.
