ESPN to Add Qerim to “Mike and Mike” Team
- NFL Network host Molly Qerim is joining ESPN as a co-host of the Mike and Mike in the Morning radio show, Sports Business Journal reported Monday. Qerim had been host of the NFL Network morning show NFL AM. Qerim’s hiring is part of an overhaul of the show, which will move to Times Square in New York next year. (Sports Business Journal)
ESPN Parts Ways With Simmons
- ESPN announced Friday that it will part ways with ESPN.com writer Bill Simmons when his contract expires in September. Simmons had been with ESPN in various capacities since 2001, serving as a studio analyst for the network’s NBA coverage from 2011-13. (ESPN.com)
College Hoops Analysts Kellogg, Davis, to Work NBA Combine
- CBS Sports college basketball analysts Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis will contribute to NBA TV’s coverage of the NBA Draft Combine, Turner Sports announced Friday. Kellogg will work with host Vince Cellini from NBA TV’s Atlanta studios, and Davis will be on-site from the combine in Chicago. In the four years since CBS and Turner have partnered on the NCAA Tournament, Kellogg and Davis have rarely contributed to Turner’s NBA coverage. (Turner Sports)
