- FOX: The 16.4 overnight rating for Sunday’s national NFL window on FOX was up 12% from a 14.7 for Colts/Packers on CBS last year. Earlier in the day, regional coverage featuring Vikings/Steelers drew a 13.0 overnight, up 65% from a 7.9 for coverage on CBS last year.
- CBS: Sunday’s NFL singleheader on CBS drew a 7.5 overnight rating, down 32% from an 11.1 for last year’s comparable coverage on FOX. The 7.5 is the lowest overnight of the season for an NFL telecast on broadcast.
- Meanwhile, the 3.7 overnight for Saturday’s Tennessee/Alabama game was up 68% from a 2.2 for Mississippi/Alabama last year.
- NBC: Opposite Game 6 of the ALCS, Sunday’s Cardinals/Giants game drew a 10.4 overnight rating on NBC, up 44% from a 7.2 for Seahawks/Buccaneers last year, but the lowest overnight rating of the season for Sunday Night Football on NBC.
- The 2.5 overnight for Saturday’s Boston College/Notre Dame game was off 7% from a 2.7 for last year’s comparable Pittsburgh/Notre Dame tilt.
- ABC: Saturday Night Football, featuring Texas/Missouri or Oregon St./USC, drew a 3.6 overnight rating on ABC, even with last year. Earlier Saturday, regional coverage featuring Penn St./Michigan drew a 4.4 overnight, up 5%.
