Overnights Flat For USA/Cuba Gold Cup on FOX
- Saturday’s United States/Cuba CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinal earned a 1.2 overnight rating on FOX, even with USA/El Salvador in the same round two years ago. That match aired on a Sunday afternoon. Compared to the USA/Cuba group play match on FOX in 2013, the 1.2 marks a 71% increase over a 0.7.
Another Sub-1.0 Overnight For PBC on CBS
- The latest edition of the Premier Boxing Champions series drew a 0.8 overnight rating on CBS Saturday afternoon, even with the network’s previous telecast in late June. Three of the four PBC events on CBS have failed to earn at least a 1.0 overnight.
American Century Championship Overnights on Par With Last Year
- Coverage of the American Century Championship golf tournament drew a 0.7 overnight rating on NBC Sunday afternoon, even with last year and up a tick from 2013 (0.6). It trailed encore coverage of the British Open on ABC by 53% (1.5). Saturday’s coverage also drew a 0.7, up a tick from last year (0.6) and well behind live and taped coverage of the British Open on ABC (1.3).
