- Stephen A. Smith: The former ESPN personality is returning to another of his former employers, the Philadelphia Inquirer. Starting Thursday, Smith will resume his role as a full-time general sports columnist for the Inquirer. Smith was fired from the Inquirer in ’07, after a demotion from columnist to general assignment reporter. - Brooke Hundley: The former ESPN employee, whose affair with Steve Phillips resulted in both being fired from the network, spoke to ABC’s Good Morning America on Thursday. When asked by ABC’s Kate Snow if people who viewed her as a stalker were “wrong,” Hundley replied “absolutely.” Hundley: “I didn’t … follow anybody around, wanting any sort of relationship with anybody.
