Without the presence of Florida or Alabama, overnight ratings were lower than usual for college football on CBS.
Mississippi’s win over LSU drew a 2.6/6 overnight on CBS Saturday, down 30% from a 3.7/8 for Florida/South Carolina during the comparable week last year, but up 4% from a 2.5/5 for last year’s Mississippi/LSU matchup on the network.
The 2.6 overnight is the third-lowest of the season for a college football game on CBS, ahead of only last week’s Tennessee/Mississippi game (2.4) and Arkansas/Alabama in September (2.2).
