NFL coverage featuring Washington/Cowboys drew a 12.2 overnight rating on FOX Sunday, up 9% from an 11.2 last year (mostly Bears/Packers, FOX), and up 11% from an 11.0 last week (mostly Bengals/Steelers, CBS).
The 12.2 overnight is the second-highest of the season for the NFL singleheader, behind only a 12.5 in Week 3 (mostly Falcons/Patriots, FOX).
Sunday’s singleheader edged NBC Sunday Night Football 12.2 to 12.1, marking the third time this season that the singleheader window either topped or tied SNF.
