Dottie Pepper Joins CBS
- CBS Sports announced Thursday that it has hired former NBC and Golf Channel broadcaster Dottie Pepper as an analyst and on-course reporter for its PGA Tour coverage. Pepper has not served as a full-time analyst since leaving NBC in 2012, but has worked ESPN’s limited golf schedule since 2013 — a role she will continue. (CBS Sports)
FOX Taps Scherzer As Guest ALCS Analyst
- Washington Nationals P Max Scherzer will join Fox Sports as a guest studio analyst for the American League Championship Series, it was announced this week. Scherzer will work alongside host Kevin Burkhardt and analysts Raúl Ibañez, Pete Rose and Frank Thomas. (Fox Sports)
Whitlock Rejoins FOX
- Fox Sports announced this week that it has re-hired former ESPN pundit Jason Whitlock in a variety of roles. Whitlock, who just finished his second tenure with ESPN, previously worked for Fox Sports from 2007-13. He is expected to have an on-air role on a yet-to-be-announced Fox Sports 1 show.
