For the second straight week, USC gave FOX a boost in the overnights. In other news, Formula 1’s return to Mexico put up low numbers on NBC, and the World Gymnastics Championships had a big increase.
FOX Has Big Jump For USC/Cal
- The USC/California college football game drew a 1.6 overnight rating on FOX Saturday afternoon, up 78% from Texas Tech/TCU last year (0.9) but down 39% from Texas Tech/Oklahoma in 2013, a rain delayed game that concluded on Fox News Channel (2.6). The 1.6 was the lowest overnight of the week for college football on broadcast, the seventh time in nine weeks that FOX has brought up the rear.
