Overnight ratings increased for Sunday’s NFL singleheader on CBS.
The Week 13 NFL singleheader window earned an 11.3 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon, up 11% from coverage featuring Saints/Steelers last year (10.2) and up 5% from coverage featuring Rams/49ers in 2013 (10.8), both of which aired on FOX.
The 11.3 overnight is the second-highest for the singleheader on CBS this season (six telecasts), trailing only coverage in Week 7 (12.2). While strong for CBS, the 11.3 matches the window’s lowest overnight on FOX (seven telecasts).
CBS has now had increases for 10 of its 22 Sunday afternoon telecasts and 15 of 30 with Thursday Night Football included. By comparison, NBC has posted gains for 12 of 15 telecasts, ESPN for eight of 13, and FOX for just eight of 21.
