ESPN Partners With Vice
- ESPN and Vice Media have announced plans to collaborate on new original programming that will air on their respective properties, including an animated series. Under the partnership, ESPN outlets will also rebroadcast Vice series The Clubhouse and Vice World of Sports, while encore presentations of ESPN’s 30 For 30 series will air on the Vice cable network. FS1 to Launch Version of PTI
- Fox Sports 1 is expected to launch a daily talk show modeled on ESPN’s Pardon the Interruption later this month, according to Sports Business Daily. No timeslot has been announced for the show, which will be co-hosted by former ESPN pundits Colin Cowherd and Jason Whitlock. (Sports Business Daily)
Outback Bowl Back on ABC
- After airing on ESPN2 the past two years, college football’s Outback Bowl has been bumped up to ABC this season for the first time since 2012. The game will take place on January 2 in the 1 PM ET window usually held by the Citrus Bowl, which has been moved up to December 31. Along with the Citrus Bowl, which remains on ABC, the Outback is one of just five bowl games on a broadcast network this year. (ESPN Media Zone)
