MLB Network could add yet another well-known name to its loaded roster.
Broadcasting and Cable reports that MLB Network is talking to FOX anchor Chris Rose about a potential role as a studio host on the network.
Rose would be able to stay with FOX Sports, where he hosts MLB coverage and occasionally does NFL play-by-play.
The addition of Rose would fill a vacancy left by Victor Rojas, who departed MLB Network for a play-by-play gig with the Angels.
Rose would be just the latest big name offseason acquisition for MLB Network, joining John Smoltz and Peter Gammons.
