ESPN Airing Obama Town Hall
- ESPN will simulcast ABC News’ presentation of a President Obama town hall discussion Thursday night focused on the incidents that took place in the past week. The discussion will be moderated by ESPN2 His & Hers co-host Jemele Hill and ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir. The telecast will come one day after Vice President Joe Biden introduces TNT’s Craig Sager at the ESPYs. (ESPN Media Zone)
NBC to Delay Opening Ceremony
- NBC will tape delay the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in all time zones despite the fact that host city Rio is just one hour ahead of the Eastern time zone. Even the live stream of the Opening Ceremony will be tape delayed. (Philly.com)
Olympic TV Coverage Will Be Available Online
- NBC Sports will stream 4,500 hours of Summer Olympics coverage, including live coverage of every competition and simulcasts of the television broadcasts on each of the nine Olympic networks.
