The SEC on CBS had one of its lowest Saturday ratings in years.
Missouri/Tennessee had a 1.5 overnight rating on the latest edition of the SEC on CBS, down 21% from LSU/Mississippi last year (1.9), down 77% from Mississippi State/Alabama in 2014 (6.6), and the lowest SEC overnight on CBS since Missouri/Arkansas on Black Friday of last year (1.3).
The 1.5 is the lowest for a Saturday edition of the SEC on CBS in at least a decade. The previous mark was a 1.6 for several telecasts, including a pair of games this season.
Head-to-head, the Volunteers’ high-scoring rout trailed Indiana/Michigan on ESPN (3.2) and regional action on ABC (1.8). It could only tie the competing Washington State/Colorado game on FOX (1.5).
