Ratings and viewership rose by double-digits for both games of last week’s NFL doubleheader on CBS.
The early window on CBS (featuring Titans/Giants) drew an 8.0 final rating and 12.836 million viewers Sunday afternoon, up 18% in ratings and 16% in viewership from last year (TEN/NYJ*: 6.8, 11.077 mil), and down 1% and up 4%, respectively, from 2008 (CIN/NYJ*: 8.1, 12.379 mil).
Despite the increase, the telecast was the lowest rated of Week 3 — behind the national window on CBS (14.0, 23.134 mil), the singleheader on FOX (12.8, 22.237 mil), Sunday Night Football on NBC (11.3, 18.147 mil) and Monday Night Football on ESPN (10.8, 17.454 mil).
As mentioned above — and reported earlier this week — the national window on CBS drew a 14.0 final rating and 23.134 million viewers, up 28% in ratings and viewership from last year’s comparable telecast.
