NFL action featuring Packers/Lions in 55% of TV markets drew a 10.5 final rating and 17.490 million viewers on FOX Sunday afternoon, down 1% in ratings and 2% in viewership compared to Week 14 last year (NO/ATL*: 10.6, 17.805 mil).
The telecast was originally scheduled to feature Giants/Vikings in 49% of TV markets, but that game was postponed to Monday night due to inclement weather.
Of the 14 NFL singleheader windows this season, Sunday’s ranks near the middle of the pack in ratings and viewership — behind six telecasts, but ahead of seven.
Ratings have now dropped for the four of the past five NFL singleheader windows on FOX and CBS, after the season’s first nine windows had increases.
