Coming off their second final appearance in three years, the Celtics are lighting up the ratings on Comcast SportsNet New England.
Celtics games are averaging a 4.7 rating on CSN New England, up 42% from the same point last year (3.3), and on pace for the network’s highest rated Celtics season ever.
The current full-season record is a 3.5, set during the 2008-09 season.
Eight Celtics games have drawn at least a 6.0 rating, topping the previous full-season high of two, set in the aforementioned 2008-09 season.
Of those eight games, two have topped a 7.0 rating. That includes CSN NE’s highest rated Celtics game ever, a November win against the Wizards (7.49).
