NFL writer Terez Paylor dies at 37
Yahoo Sports NFL writer Terez Paylor has died at age 37. No cause was given, but his death was described as unexpected. Paylor had been active in the hours leading up to his passing, writing multiple articles about the Super Bowl on Monday and recording an episode of his podcast. His death comes less than 72 hours after that of ESPN’s Pedro Gomez, who died unexpectedly Sunday at the age of 58, and within weeks of Turner Sports’ Sekou Smith, who died of COVID-19 at 48.

Vaccinated Albert would be on-site for NBA All-Star Game
TNT NBA play-by-play voice Marv Albert will call the NBA All-Star Game in person from Atlanta if it is played, the New York Post reported Monday. Albert has not called a game in person since sports went on hiatus last March and skipped the NBA “bubble” restart last summer over COVID-19 concerns. Per the Post, he was to receive his second shot of a COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday.

ESPN on Sunday will debut an E:60 special marking the 20th anniversary of Dale Earnhardt’s 2001 death in the Daytona 500.
