NHL outdoor games moved due to conditions
The NHL was forced to suspend Saturday’s Golden Knights-Avalanche outdoor game at Lake Tahoe after the first period due to poor ice conditions, with play set to resume after sundown at 9 PM local time Saturday night (Midnight ET). Sunday’s Flyers-Bruins outdoor game at the same venue has been pushed back from 2 PM ET on NBC to 7:30 on NBCSN to avoid the same circumstance. The Devils-Capitals indoor game originally scheduled for NBCSN Sunday night would fill the afternoon vacancy on NBC. [NBC Sports]
ESPN re-signs Clark, adds Miller
ESPN announced this week that it has re-signed NFL analyst Ryan Clark to a multi-year deal. Clark, who has been with ESPN since 2014, will continue in his year-round role on ESPN’s various studio shows. According to The Athletic, Fox Sports made a “significant” run at Clark.
In related news, ESPN has added Bleacher Report analyst Matt Miller as a contributor to its NFL Draft coverage. Miller debuted Friday on Get Up! and is slated to appear across the usual slate of ESPN studio shows. [ESPN PR 2.17, 2.19, The Athletic 2.18]

ABC is scheduled to air a Dortmund-Bayern Munich Bundesliga match on March 6, per an ESPN advance schedule, its first such telecast. … MLB Network is in talks to launch a new morning show that could be hosted by New York-area radio host Craig Carton, according to the New York Post. … The NBA is expected to give its teams a draft schedule for the second half of its season as soon as this weekend, per ESPN.
