Two of this weekend’s nationally televised sporting events, The Barclays and the Little League World Series, have both had to make adjustments due to Hurricane Irene.
The Barclays, the first event of the PGA Tour FedEX Cup, will conclude with Saturday’s third round. CBS was scheduled to air final round coverage on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM.
Meanwhile, the Little League World Series championship game has been moved up from 3:00 PM to Noon ET on Sunday. The game will still be televised by ABC.
The hurricane has already forced FOX and TBS to make changes to their baseball schedules. A Braves/Mets game slated for FOX was canceled, while TBS swapped a Yankees/Orioles game for Cubs/Brewers.
