One week after setting multi-year highs, the NFL singleheader window on FOX fell back toward earth on Sunday.
The Week 5 NFL singleheader, featuring Eagles/Bills in 29% of TV markets, earned a 10.7 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon — down 16% from last year (GB/WSH*: 12.7), but up a tick from 2009 (DAL/KC*: 10.6).
The 10.8 overnight is the second-lowest of the season for the NFL singleheader window, ahead of only the Week 1 telecast on CBS (BAL/PIT*: 10.6).
Unlike last week, when the singleheader led all windows, Sunday’s telecast trailed the NFL national window on CBS (NYJ/NE*: 15.6), Sunday Night Football on NBC (GB/ATL: 14.0), and even Monday Night Football on ESPN (CHI/DET: 11.3).
