Three prominent ESPN NBA broadcasters will work college basketball games this month as the NBA lockout continues.
ESPN NBA play-by-play voice Mike Breen and color analyst Jeff Van Gundy will call college basketball games on the network during the month of November, it was announced Thursday.
Breen will call Belmont/Duke on November 11 and Presbyterian/Duke on November 12 alongside Doris Burke. Both games will air on ESPNU.
Breen and Van Gundy will team up to call Rhode Island/Texas on November 15 on ESPN.
In addition, ESPN NBA and NFL play-by-play voice Mike Tirico will call the Big Ten ‘Super Tuesday’ telecast throughout the season. It was not immediately clear whether that decision had been planned before the NBA lockout.
