ESPN scored strong numbers for a pair of Big Ten college football games last weekend.
Saturday’s #15 Wisconsin/Ohio State college football game earned a 2.7 U.S. rating and 4.547 million viewers on ESPN, up 59% in ratings and 66% in viewership from last year (MICH/PSU: 1.7, 2.743M), and up 80% and 95%, respectively, from 2009 (SC/TEN: 1.5, 2.335M).
Earlier in the day, the Noon ET #11 Michigan State/#14 Nebraska game earned a 3.0 and 4.335 million, the third-largest audience ever for a Noon ET college football game on ESPN.
The two games ranked among the ten most-viewed cable programs of the week.
