• FOX: America did not quite care about an NFL game in London. The 8.2 overnight for regional coverage in the 1:00 PM window was outpaced by the 10.6 rating CBS drew in the same timeslot. The 8.2 marks a 31% decline from a 12.2 overnight for early game coverage on FOX last year.
• The 2007 Patriots are no 2006 Colts. The Pats’ blowout victory over Washington on Sunday drew a hefty 14.3 rating — which still marked a 4% decline from the 14.9 rating for the comparable Broncos/Colts game in ’06.
• ABC: College football drew mixed numbers on ABC Saturday. While ABC averaged a 3.8 rating for three games this weekend, up 3% from a 3.7 average for two games last year, coverage during the 3:30 PM window drew a 3.5 rating, down 20% from the 4.4 for games during that timeslot in ’06.
• CBS: SEC football continues to attract more eyeballs this year than last; the 4.5 overnight for Georgia/Florida is a 15% jump from the 3.9 overnight for the same game last year.
