NBC drew another solid rating for coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics on Sunday night.
The tenth night of coverage drew a 15.8/28 rating and 26.8 million viewers, even in ratings and up 3% in total viewers from a 15.8 with 26.0 million on the comparable night of the 2004 Athens Games.
The 15.8 rating marks a 2% decline from a 16.0 for the second Sunday of the 2000 Sydney Games, and is tied with 2004 as the lowest rating for the second Sunday of the Summer Olympics since at least 1988.
Through ten nights, NBC is averaging a 17.2/30 and 29.8 million viewers for prime time coverage of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, up 9% and 14% from a 15.8/28 and 26.2 million in 2004. The 17.2 rating also marks a 17% increase from a 14.7/26 through ten nights in 2000.
