- The IRL television schedule is set, with Versus set to carry the first three and the last eight races of the season. The first IRL telecast on Versus will take place April 5 at 2 PM from St. Petersburg. ABC will air five out of seven races, starting with the Indianapolis 500 in May and ending with the race in Toronto in mid-July. Versus will finish out the rest of the schedule, starting with the race in Edmonton on July 26.
- Fox Sports Net has reached a multiyear deal to televise Oklahoma City Thunder basketball games starting this season. The games will be televised on the newly named FS Oklahoma, which replaces FSN Southwest in the state, and game broadcasts will be branded FS Thunder. FS Oklahoma will air 65 Thunder telecasts this season.
- College Gameday is headed to the campus of Vanderbilt for the first time ever. Saturday’s show will originate from Nashville for the #19 Commodores’ game against #13 Auburn, which will air on ESPN.
