Even for the NFL Network, last week’s Raiders/Chargers game drew very low numbers.
Thursday Night Football, featuring the Chargers’ victory over the Raiders, drew 1.9 million viewers on NFL Network last week, the fewest viewers yet for an NFL telecast on the NFL Network.
The 1.9 million viewers marks a 14% decline from the 2.2 million who tuned into the fifth NFL Network telecast of last season, a Saturday night game between the Bengals and 49ers.
Through five telecasts, the NFL Network is averaging 3.3 million viewers for live NFL games, down 31% from 4.7 million through five games in ’07.
